SUMMARY:Halloween Party Fundraiser on Sunday October 28th starting at 2pm
DESCRIPTION:We, along with W.I.S.E., will be holding a fundraiser to help educate single mothers so they can securely provide for their families at Bridge Between the Worlds located at 2395 Paddock Wood Road, Keswick, VA on Sunday October 28th starting at 2pm and ending a bit after 6.  The Scholarship Auction will start at 4. It will be a Halloween Party complete with costume contest.   Please feel free to bring family and friends. There will be plenty of food, drinks and good music. \n\n I am excited to share with you one of the ripple effects of the work we do here at Bridge Between the Worlds.  As many of you know, much of what we offer is in honor of the Sacred Feminine.  I feel that one way to bring this into the world in a very practical way is to help single women in the Charlottesville area.  Soon after I had a sense of starting a Foundation, I connected with two extraordinary women who had already manifested a foundation to help women and single mothers gain a footing in life through offering scholarships to Piedmont Virginia Community College:PVCC.\nI would like to introduce you to Liz Crocker and Elizabeth Alcorn who founded Women in Spiritual Engagement in 2013. Their foundation, WISE, consists of  a group of like minded women who strive to study and practice varied avenues of spirituality.  As a group, the members of WISE decided one of the best ways to assist with long term support of local children and women is to help educate single mothers so they can securely provide for their families.  Since 2014, WISE has awarded annual scholarships to support mothers attending PVCC.  In February of 2018, the group created an additional scholarship to support students enrolled in PVCCs Great Expectations Program.  To learn more see their website at www.wisecville.org.\nI would like to invite you to help with these efforts and  am asking for your support to assist these women.  An education will greatly enable them to raise their children and provide many more opportunities for their families.  If you are interested in supporting this cause, please go to the DONATE button below.\n\nDonate Here\n\n\nFor more information about the fundraiser  and events coming to Bridge Between the Worlds to raise awareness check the websites listed above.  Call 434-293-9708 with any questions.    Thank you and we look forward to seeing you!\nThank you so much again for your support.\nMargaretta McIlvaine\nPlease park in the rear parking lot past the house.\n \n\n10/28/2018 14:00 to 10/28/2018 18:00\n
