Gateway II consists of 4 classes specializing in mastering the traditional healing skills of the Shaman (prior classes at a different location). Students will come together in a safe, trusting and loving environment to explore the ancient healing crafts of traditional medicine people. Class 2. .

Alchemical Alignment: Bodywork for Trauma Resolution and Embodiment of Spirit. Level 1.
With Brigit Viksnins.
Learn to work confidently and mindfully with health, and subtle or intense symptoms of trauma in the body. Join us for this heart and soul-based, hands-on experiential bodywork training (with a solid amount of information to fill your mind). This course is a fusion and evolution of principles and skills of interactive, awareness-based bodywork and trauma resolution therapies. Includes The Alignment Sequence, an Aikido and Qi Gong-based mindful movement meditation. .

The Munay Ki (pronounced – Moon Eye Key)
with Deborah Wray.
The Munay Ki are the nine great rites of the medicine way. The word munay means “I love you” and “be as thou art.” The Munay-Ki are the nine gates that heal us and transform our human energy field into that of “homo luminous.” The prophecies of the Ancient Americas speak about a new human appearing on the planet–one who lives free of fear and resides in his or her transcendent nature. .

Gateway School of Shamanism, The GATEWAY I Series: Opening the Gate. With Deborah Wray.
Part of a four-class journey to personal healing and freedom. We begin to assemble a personal altar, a Power Bundle to hold our healing and empowerment. Students will receive the first set of shamanic rites woven into the luminous energy field to heal and realign energetically. .
April 23, 10 a.m. — 5 p.m.
The Art of Living: Living in Harmony with Mother Earth. With Dr. Theo Paredes.
Dr. Paredes worked with shamanic practices for several decades, particularly in the use of ceremony and the practices of managing energy. An expert in working with plant medicines and in the realm of the spirits, Dr. Paredes incorporates breathing techniques, meditation and physical movement to stimulate awareness in ourselves. .

Gateway II consists of 4 classes specializing in mastering the traditional healing skills of the Shaman. Our goal is to discover the student’s own gifts and abilities within a curriculum that focuses on the mastery of tracking and tuning in to the client energetically, chakra balancing, journeying in the 3 worlds, soul retrieval, extraction processes, psychopomp work and death rites. Through movement, writing, poetry and visual arts, we will explore what longs for expression, release and transformation. There will time to linger on the retreat grounds and enjoy a delicious vegetarian catered lunch. Overnight accommodations available. .

Reiki II Training with Margaretta McIlvaine.
Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method of hands on healing rediscover by Dr. Usui in Japan. It is based on the principal that unseen life force energy (ki) flows through us and when stagnant causes stress and illness. Reiki assists in strengthening this life force flow and is known for its many beneficial effects. Open to those who have completed Reiki I.

Principles of Land Clearing with Margaretta McIlvaine.
Land, especially in historic areas, tends to accumulate energy signatures of those who have lived and died in that area. Often because of the traumatic nature of certain events, the energy of the land can feel ‘disturbed” in one manner of another. Learn simple techniques to sense the energy of the land and tools to help bring that energy back to balance. .

We are all made of God Stuff — A Journey Back to the Center of the Creator with James Foster.
All too often our perceptions of God are limited to the box we try to fit him into. Can we reconcile our faith in light of our current understanding of science and the study of other faiths and cultures? This workshop offers perspective, knowledge and discussion that explores the Christian Church from the earliest days, the similarities of different faith traditions, and our human dimension of divinity. James Foster has been a pastor, chaplain, retreat director and writer for more than fifty years. He is visiting us from Tennessee.

Making New Choices in Your Life: A Sound Energy Healing Gathering with sound shaman Norma Gentile.
