What is Family Constellations?  Family Constellations is a therapeutic process that is based on the understanding that traumatic events from one’s family lineage can be transferred into the next generations.

What is the process?  In a group setting, a client chooses other participants to be representatives for their family members or aspects of a problem and positions them in the group circle.  These representatives then report on their feelings and perceptions, providing insights into the hidden dynamics of the system.  As the process organically unfolds, movements supporting healing and rebalancing of the system are offered.

How will I benefit from the retreat?   Family Constellations work helps you to make systemic entanglements conscious, unburden your current family system and yourself, and repair breaks in early childhood bonding and attachment.  You don’t have to know all the details of your family history for this to be meaningful and beneficial.

All members of a family system are deeply connected over many generations through love and bonding.  This bond connects us to a family conscience that wants us to recognize all members of our family, including those who have been outcast, dishonored, or forgotten.  Family pain patterns can present in your life and may manifest through chronic emotional distress, illness, addictions, hurtful habits, or destructive relationship patterns.  In the constellation process, surprising insights often emerge about hidden loyalties, unspoken grief, or unfinished stories in the transgenerational family system.  These insights support desired healing and positive changes for you and your family.
